The Joys of spring

This little mouse is from the Joanna Sheen house mouse set called Daffodil and I have coloured him with pro markers then added glossy accents to the rain drops. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie. The brilliant dotty paper is from Dovecrafts basics vol 2.

Pan Pastel background

During the  fantastic four days at "A Crafty Weekend Away" organised by the lovely Amy (co - owner of Natalie and Amy's Store). It was so fun. I got to make a whopping 23 cards and do some other crafts such as resin jewellery and ceramic painting. I developed a new passion that is pan pastels.

I became slightly addicted to Pan Pastels and the most fun I had with them was creating my own backgrounds.

Here is a card I have made for some challenges.
Recipe  - Pan Pastels  from Natalie and Amy's shop
Inkadinkado stamps
Back to Basics Christmas Paper  from Natalie and Amy's shop
Glossy Accents from Natalie and Amy's shop
Crafters Companion Spray and Sparkle
Versamark watermark pad available at Natalie and Amy's shop.

I created the backing papers by stamping the image with versamark I then used different shades of pan pastels over the images. I sprayed with Crafters companion Spray and Sparkle and then repeated with my second image. I then cut out some baubles from the Back to basic papers. I stuck on with a foam pad and then added glossy accents. I added some faux stitching to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Patsy - Kraftin' Kimmie

Yep I know I am still hooked. I LOVE this lady is Patsy she really does rock. I have coloured her with pro markers and then added glossy accents to her sun glasses so the shine. I have kept the rest of the card simple and just done some layering and added the spotty ribbon for some texture.

Pippa Popcorn

I've created my card using Pippa Popcorn from Kraftin' Kimmie, now normally these aren't my type of images, but when I saw her, I just had to buy her as I thought she was cute behind all that popcorn. I've added pearls in the corners for a bit of bling.
I've colored her with Copics, and used a couple Spellbinders nesties for the shape. The lovely cream paper behind is from a Christmas paper pack from First Edition but it was the perfect color to go with my card and image. I've used  the new C. C. Designs leafy branch and olive branch dies. I love the look of these. I also created a matching popcorn box, filled with popcorn (well it was filled until the picture was taken, then I kindly shared it with Kody my doggy)

All of the items used are availabe at Natalie & Amy's Shop
