Live in the moment

Almost everything I have used here is in the shop. I started with a 5x5 card blank I have matted and layered a 13cm x 13cm square of white card on to it. I inked the white card with all 3 of the distress inks in the spring seasonal set I started with the Squeezed Lemonade and mad it go almost to the middle of the card then put on some peacock feather not going quite as far into the centre then finished it off by adding Shaded Lilac around the very edges. Then I stamped the flowers at the bottom and the sentiment in brown ink. They are both from the Silhouette Grasses set. Then I have added some texture with tiny dots of platinum liquid pearl. The butterflies are from Local king rubber stamp and the set is just called Butterflies. I used the squeezed lemonade distress ink again just to give the butterflies a bit of colour and then added some gold stickles so they sparkle. I have used collall all purpose glue to do my matting and layering and I have to say I am so in love with this glue. I use it all the time now I don't think I will ever go back to tape. To attach the butterflies I have used collall silicone glue so they stand away from the card a bit and look more 3D.

Action Wobbles

He is called Stackable Santa I believe, and stack him I did.....lol, I also mounted him on the action wobbles that I bought from Natalie & Amy's shop. You get 12 in a pack and I've used two so far, and I know I'll use up the rest as I find them so fun to add to your cards or projects.
I've added Stardust Stickles to his cuffs and his beard and mustache.  The snowflake border at the bottom is Memory Box called Frostyville Border, tiny snowflakes scattered about are from Cheery Lynn Designs I've added some heather and small roses. The snowflake behind Santa is a Marianne Designs die available at Natalie & Amy's

Nellie Snellen Stamp

For my card I've used one of the Nellie Snellen stamps called  "Sweet Elin Star", colored with Copics, she was cut out using the Marianne D  Stencil Heart Die, with the largest one being the mat behind. The gorgeous paper is from the First Edition  Spring Feast paper pad, and mounted on the Dovecraft 6x6 Scalloped  Cards. I've also used the Creative Expressions "Victorian Metal Corner", I love these corners, and didn't really want to part with one on my card, they are gorgeous. I've also added some Stardust Stickles to the wings of this little cutie.

More PanPastel play

I just could not resist getting all chalky and trying to step out of my comfort zone for this one. I still need a LOT more practise as you can see but it was such good fun to play with this technique. For this card I used VersaMark to stamp out this beautiful poppy image from the Herb Garden stamp set over the bottom of a piece of white card. Then I took a light green (Permanent Green Tint) and went over the whole piece of paper using one of the angle slice round sponges. I don't think I will ever get bored of how the image just appears when you do this. Then I went back in with red (Permanent Red) and put some on the flowers and bits in the background too to try and make it look like a whole field of them. I used another one of the sofft tools for this the Knife and covers 4. Now if I was doing this again I would save the red for last as once the red was on I thought it was too dark for the light green so went back in with a darker green (Permanent Green) over the stems round the edge and bits over the light green to try and give more depth. Then I added some yellow (Yellow Ochre) to the centres of the flowers. The darker green has muddied the red a little in places that is why if I did it again I would do the red after the green but over all I am happy with how it has turned out. I then used very cheap hair spray (tesco's value about 30p a can!!) to set it all so it won't come off all over the person I give it to :D
For a touch of sparkle I added some diamond stickles to the centres of the flowers and then I just layered it up.

PanPastel play

For my card I have used Eline's Huis Clear Stamps Let it Snow EC0133 and Eline's Huis Clear Stamps Jingle Bells EC0132 from Marianne D. I have stamped the main snowflake in versa mark then masked it and stamped over it with the music note stamp. To add even more layers to my stamping I have stamped more snowflakes round the edge. Then I used PanPastel starting with ultramarine blue tint to go over everything then the darker ultramarine blue to go around the egde and pick out the main snowflake. Next I added some gems and Star dust stickles to the middle snowflake so it shines. Finished it off by framing everything with liquid pearls in baby blue and opal white.
